A and I went to the Ice wine festival on the weekend in Niagara-on-the Lake it was dreamy. Initially I didn't think I would enjoy it because I didn't think I liked ice wine that much, but it was fun, picturesque, and even romantic. The wine was good, our first stop was Konzelmann Estate Winery it was my favorite, the people were welcoming, warm, and we loved their wine. I will go back again. I was however disenchanted with the bigger named wineries like Peller and Inniskillin, they catered primarily to people who appeared wealthy. Too bad for them, we buy a lot of wine. Downtown Niagara-On-The-Lake was beautiful, yet was unusually packed with herds of wealthy women in fur coats. I felt like I was in a winter wonderland. In the Ice wine tent they were serving Maleta Ice Wine which was lovely. After a while our feet started to get chilly so we went in to the Buttery for an authentic english tea. It was yummy, we had the best seats in the place the cushy seats against the window, so we could people watch, or watch the herds go by. Oh yes, I highly recommend blue cheese and Ice Wine, if I learned something from this experience this was it. Blue cheese goes great with ice wine! The day was a much needed treat in the middle of winter.

Gearing Up

I had a presentation today for my Chinese Art class. I think it went really well. In the last moment I decided to add in a power point presentation. I never created one before, but I managed to pull it off with out a hitch. I created 20 slides with pics and points in exactly one hour and 45 minutes. Not bad for a first timer. I really enjoyed making it. Now I just need to find a job doing it.
I think I will make one for the wedding. Oh yeah that reminds me, I am trying on my wedding dress this weekend! I am very excited.
I visited the museum today, its weird how the people their are being recycled, and shifted, ahh the drama, I don't miss that part. I am missing an artist talk tonight. But I have other things to do.
Anyway enough procrastinating... I have a paper to write for tomorrow. I guess this is a sign school is gearing up again.

Living Anticipation
It is interesting to read something you wrote almost three years ago, (the previous blog entry) and realize that so much has changed, and also, that not much has changed after all.
My A.D.D. is still going strong. I am in my last semester at school now. I took a few years off to work at a fantastic job at a museum in my field of choice. It was a wild ride, that I miss a lot, so much so I'm not certain if I am going to go to teachers college. I would personally rather teach in a museum than a stuffy classroom that is dictated by the curriculum.
I am sitting on the edge of my seat until approximately the end of March, because my fiance will then be hearing back from the graduate schools he applied to. This will determine where we will be moving, it's an exciting time, it could be the U.K. New York, Montreal, Boston or California. I have a feeling it will be Montreal, they really seemed to like him.
Life has been slowly becoming an adventure. I have been traveling to places other than the usual Northern Ontario with my friends and fiance Aaron. I believe I have the travel bug, (no not diarrhea). My parents offered to give us a trip for our Honeymoon, but we can't book anything until we know where we are moving to. I hope it's New York I fell in love with the city two years ago. It makes you feel like your life is on film.
Today we have a snow day at the University, well actually a freezing rain day, so I thought I should start writing in my many blogs again, this one never really got off the ground because my mind was more devoted to other blogs then. So lets start the year off right with a renewed blog. Green is my favorite colour anyway.
